LeafBlaster Pro gutter guards, installed in Sacramento

LeafBlaster Pro is Gutterglove’s contractor-only guard. Gutterglove doesn’t sell it at Home Depot or to homeowners online, so you get it through an installer. It’s what we put on most of the homes we protect, for $12–$20 per foot installed.

LeafBlaster Pro is a Gutterglove, Inc. product. We’re an independent installer. We install LeafBlaster Pro but aren’t owned by or affiliated with Gutterglove, Inc.

A pro-only guard from a company with Roseville roots

LeafBlaster Pro is the professionally installed gutter guard line from Gutterglove, Inc. Gutterglove grew out of Northern California tree care and was based in Roseville until it moved its headquarters to Franklin, Tennessee in 2021. It has made stainless micro-mesh gutter guards since 2003.

Gutterglove sells to homeowners under separate retail brands. LeafBlaster Pro goes only to contractors, through building-supply distributors such as QXO and ABC Supply. That changes how you shop for it: the product is the same from any installer, so you're comparing installers, not products.

On most jobs we install LeafBlaster Pro stainless micro-mesh over an aluminum frame. On some homes a standard micro-mesh guard is the better fit, and we'll tell you why at the estimate.

Three LeafBlaster Pro lines, matched to Sacramento roofs

Gutterglove makes LeafBlaster Pro in three patented lines. Each card gives Gutterglove’s guidance, then where we see that situation around Sacramento.

Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh

Z-Bend mesh on an aluminum frame

Gutterglove says it suits

Most homes with average tree cover and normal rainfall.

Around Sacramento

A typical valley tract home in Natomas, Elk Grove or Citrus Heights with a few street trees.

Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh

Z-Bend mesh on a T-6 treated aluminum frame

Gutterglove says it suits

Homes with mature oaks, pines or walnuts within about 30 feet, or high-wind exposure.

Around Sacramento

Valley oaks in Fair Oaks and Carmichael, and the pine and oak lots of Granite Bay, Loomis and El Dorado Hills.

All-Aluminum

RiserStep aluminum design

Gutterglove says it suits

Roofs where water volume matters more than fine-debris filtering, or where color matching matters.

Around Sacramento

Large, steep roof planes that dump a lot of water during an atmospheric-river storm.

Gutterglove says its RiserStep aluminum design handles up to 45% more water than competing aluminum guards. Your written quote names the exact line we recommend for your house.

What LeafBlaster Pro costs installed

Gutterglove leaves pricing to the installer. Ours is published, and it includes cleaning your gutters first.

Worked from our published $12–$20 per foot range. Your quote is based on measured footage.
HomeGutter lengthInstalled total
Single-story, smaller footprint130 ft$1,560–$2,600
Typical two-story200 ft$2,400–$4,000
Large home or complex roof300 ft$3,600–$6,000

What moves you within the range: bigger jobs land near $12 a foot because setup cost is spread over more footage, while small jobs, second stories and steep or tile roofs cost more. See every rate on our pricing page.

If your gutters are rusted, leaking at the seams or pulling away from the fascia, guards won't fix them. We can replace them and put LeafBlaster Pro on the new system in one visit: new gutters and gutter guards together.

How a LeafBlaster Pro install goes

Most homes are done in one to two days.

  1. Free on-site measurement

We measure every run of gutter, check the pitch and hangers, and look at which trees drop what onto your roof.

  2. Written quote that names the product

You get a per-foot price and a total before any work starts, with the exact guard and product line written in.

  3. Gutters cleaned and resealed first

Guards go on clean gutters. Cleaning is included with every installation, and leaking seams are resealed before anything is covered.

  4. Guards cut and fitted to your roofline

Each section is cut to length and fitted at corners and downspouts. Most homes take one to two days.

  5. Flow check and warranty registration

We run water to confirm it drains, then you register the guards at leafblasterpro.com so the 40-year parts warranty is on file.

What LeafBlaster Pro won’t do

No gutter guard is maintenance-free. Here is what to expect, mostly from Gutterglove’s own FAQ.

Valley corners need a brush now and then

Where two roof planes meet, water and fine debris pour into one inside corner of the gutter. Gutterglove says those spots need brushing from time to time. In a heavy downpour, valley water can also run past the guard; a perforated rainwater diverter at the valley spreads it out, though debris builds up behind it and needs an occasional clean-out.

Roof grit mostly washes off

Shingle grit lands on the mesh every storm. On straight runs, Gutterglove says rain splashes it off about 99% of the time, cycling over the edge rather than clogging. Leaves or needles that do stay on the mesh can be brushed off from the ground with a gutter guard brush on an extension pole.

Don’t paint it

Painting or modifying the guards voids Gutterglove's warranty and can hurt drainage. If color matters more than fine filtering, ask about the All-Aluminum line instead.

It isn’t sold for DIY

Gutterglove sells LeafBlaster Pro only through contractors. You may find it listed by online resellers, but it isn't a homeowner product. If you'd rather install guards yourself, Gutterglove's retail brands are EasyOn at Costco, Atlas at Lowe's, Gutter Guard by Gutterglove at Home Depot and Raptor on Amazon. You give up professional fitting and the installer's guarantee.

Two layers of coverage

The product and the installation are covered separately, by the people responsible for each.

40-year limited parts warranty

  • Covers the LeafBlaster Pro product itself
  • Transfers to the next owner if you sell
  • Does not cover labor; the manufacturer doesn't warrant installation
  • Voided by painting or modifying the guards
  • Cut to 10 years in “Coastal Areas,” which Gutterglove defines as within five miles of a shoreline, lakes included. Read literally, that could reach homes near Folsom Lake in Folsom, Granite Bay and El Dorado Hills, so get Gutterglove's answer in writing if you live close
  • Register at leafblasterpro.com to put it on file; Gutterglove mails a free Gutter Brush (you pay shipping)

Workmanship Guarantee

  • Covers the installation: proper fit and secure attachment
  • Covers performance under normal conditions
  • If something we installed underperforms, we come back and make it right

LeafBlaster Pro questions

Who installs LeafBlaster Pro in Sacramento?

Sacramento Gutter Guard installs LeafBlaster Pro across the Sacramento area, including Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Granite Bay, El Dorado Hills and Elk Grove. It is our most common guard. Gutterglove sells LeafBlaster Pro only through contractors and building-supply distributors, so homeowners get it through an installer.

How much does LeafBlaster Pro cost installed in Sacramento?

We install gutter guards for $12–$20 per linear foot, including cleaning the gutters first. Most Sacramento homes have 130–300 feet of gutter, which puts the total at roughly $1,600–$6,000. Larger jobs land near the low end per foot; small jobs, second stories and steep or tile roofs push it up. Your written quote gives the exact number.

Can I buy LeafBlaster Pro and install it myself?

No. Gutterglove does not sell LeafBlaster Pro at retail or online to homeowners. If you want to install guards yourself, Gutterglove points DIY buyers to its retail brands: EasyOn at Costco, Atlas at Lowe’s, Gutter Guard by Gutterglove at Home Depot, and Raptor on Amazon.

What warranty comes with LeafBlaster Pro?

Gutterglove provides a 40-year limited warranty on LeafBlaster Pro parts. It transfers to a new owner if you sell the house. It covers the product, not labor, and painting the guards voids it. The term drops to 10 years in what Gutterglove calls Coastal Areas, defined as within five miles of a shoreline including lakes, which could apply near Folsom Lake. Our Workmanship Guarantee covers the installation itself: proper fit, secure attachment and performance under normal conditions.

Which LeafBlaster Pro line is best for oak trees?

Gutterglove recommends the Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh line for homes with mature oaks, pines or walnuts within about 30 feet. That describes a lot of Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Granite Bay and El Dorado Hills. We check your trees at the estimate and write the recommended line into your quote.

Do LeafBlaster Pro gutter guards need any maintenance?

A little. Gutterglove notes that inside corners at the bottom of roof valleys collect fine debris and need brushing from time to time. On straight runs, rain usually washes roof grit and small debris off the mesh. A gutter guard brush on an extension pole handles it from the ground.

Is LeafBlaster Pro the same as Gutterglove?

LeafBlaster Pro is made by Gutterglove, Inc. It is the company’s professionally installed line, separate from its DIY retail brands. Gutterglove started in Northern California and moved its headquarters from Roseville to Franklin, Tennessee in 2021.

What is the difference between LeafBlaster Pro and Gutterglove Pro?

Gutterglove Pro is an older Gutterglove product name you will still see on distributor and installer sites. Gutterglove’s current brand list names LeafBlaster Pro as its contractor-installed line. If a quote says “Gutterglove Pro,” ask the installer which current product and line will actually go on your house.

Is LeafBlaster Pro better than the Gutterglove guards at Home Depot or Lowe’s?

They come from the same factory but they are different products. Gutterglove’s store brands (Gutter Guard by Gutterglove at Home Depot, Atlas at Lowe’s, EasyOn at Costco and Raptor on Amazon) use its V-Bend mesh and carry 25- to 30-year warranties. LeafBlaster Pro uses its Z-Bend mesh, adds a Frame-Reinforced line for heavy oak and pine, and carries a 40-year parts warranty. The store brands are made for DIY installation; LeafBlaster Pro is installed by a contractor.
